A Migori man who once made headlines after winning big on SportPesa in 2019 has now spoken out about how he lost everything and later rebuilt his life after years of financial ruin.
Donald Nangala, who briefly became a local celebrity after his massive win, said the money disappeared faster than it came, leaving him broke, depressed, and isolated.
“People think winning is the end of problems. For me, it was the beginning,” he said. “I bought cars, helped relatives, travelled, and lived large. Within two years, everything was gone. I even struggled to pay rent.”
