A well-known pastor from Kakamega County has stunned many after publicly revealing how his small church grew from just 30 congregants to more than 5,000 members within six months, attributing the sudden rise to what he described as spiritual alignment and attraction.
The pastor, who requested partial anonymity due to the sensitivity of the matter, said his ministry had stagnated for years despite consistent preaching, evangelism, and community outreach.
“I was preaching to empty benches for a long time,” he said. “Sometimes only my wife, my children, and a few loyal members would show up. I almost gave up.”
